The tour includes a visit to the Monastery of St. John the Theologian, which is located in the village Souroti close to the airport of Thessaloniki. St. John Monastery is dedicated to Saint Arsenios the Cappadocian as well, since in the Catholicon lie the holy relics of him. Next to the Catholic you will also find the grave of Saint Paisios the Athonite. Nowadays, the monastery has 60 nuns approximately and belongs to the Holy Metropolis of Cassandria.
