Start with a visit to the town of Grevena discovering its traditional sites and the delicious local flavours. So to speak, the “Land of Bears and Mushrooms”, is a region popular for its wild mushroom varieties that grow up to the mountains, so do not miss out on tasting some specialities such as mushroom soup, risotto, grill mushrooms and other. 

Next, we will reach one of the most picturesque attractions of the area, the impressive stone bridges. The natural beauty of the surroundings, the flowing streams and the calmness of the environment will leave you speechless!

However, one of the top attractions of Grevena is Vasilitsa Ski Center also known as the “Snow Queen”. Literally, during the peak season, the mountain is charming with great natural ski routes and trails as well as gentle slopes and with an altitude of 2,249 m, the perfect scenery for ski and snowboard lovers. 

Last stop is Pindus National Park, also called “Valia Calda” which means “warm valley”. Τhe rough but extraordinary landscape of the virgin forest, the beautiful flowing streams, the aromas of the herbs and the hundreds of rare flowers and plants will definitely captivate you. A walk through the legendary Arkoudorema river is not to be missed!
