Mr Vangelis Gerovassiliou who specialized in Oenology and the Technology of Wine-making, after his collaboration with the famous Chateaux of France, decided to renovate the family vineyard in order to create the “Ktima Gerovassiliou”. Nowadays, Domaine Gerovassiliou belongs to one of the best wineries in Greece, with modern facilities and great surroundings. Important enough to mention is that the specific microclimate (terroir) of Epanomi, subserve to the production of high-quality wines. 

In addition, visiting Gerovassiliou gives you the opportunity to participate in several organized activities including, wine-tastings, Wine Museum and winery tour. The winery consists of three main buildings, the wine production area, the bottling area and the new reception building. Apart from the interior tour to the winery and the remarkable Museum, you will also have the chance to see the single private vineyard, which is surrounded by the sea overlooking to the Thermaic Gulf and Mount Olympus, and the beaches of Pieria as well.
