Day Tour to Elatochori Ski Center – Enipeas Gorge & Dion

Start with the picturesque village Elatochori and visit the homonymous beautiful Ski Center Elatochori. Full of evergreen fir trees, at a spectacular location offers breathtaking views of Mount Olympus and Aliakmonas River. Next, discover the Archaeological Park of Dion, an area of 150 hectares where have been excavated urban area residential buildings, a market square, public buildings, churches, bathhouses, shops, workshops and toilets. 

Then you reach Litochoro, a beautiful tourist destination any time of the year. It is a picturesque town that follows the traditional architecture of Macedonia with impressive lush vegetation on the surroundings. You can stroll around the old traditional quarter of the town and visit the sports and cultural centre as well as the Maritime Museum.

In 18 km you will be at Prionia (Olympus) at a majestic landscape with dense pine trees, beech and fir. There is also the spring of Enipeas Gorge, as well as there is a canteen that operates all year round where you can rest and have a snack or coffee. Then we will reach Leptokarya and Platamonas. Both are seaside settlements with fine sand and crystal-clear blue waters. Last stop is Rapsani Winery, also known as Tsantali. Rapsani, Rapsani Reserve and Rapsani Grande Reserve PDO varieties are among the most renowned wines of Greece worldwide.
